FOS-HUB is a shared masternode pool for Stakecubecoin (SCC). Instead of needing the full 1,000 SCC + setting up a server yourself, you can deposit any amount. We aggregate the deposits, run masternodes, and distribute rewards proportionally.
A masternode is a server that helps secure the SCC network. It requires 1,000 SCC as collateral (locked but not spent) and must run 24/7. In return it receives a share of every block reward — typically ~4.2 SCC every ~2.4 days per masternode at current network conditions.
Your SCC are sent to a unique deposit address on our controller wallet. We pool the funds and use them as collateral for masternodes. Balances are tracked in an immutable database ledger; balances can only be changed by inserting a new entry — never by editing or deleting.
Technically yes — we are custodial, meaning we hold the private keys to the addresses where your SCC live. This is the same trust you give any exchange. We mitigate the risk by (a) keeping collateral in cold storage, (b) immutable audit log on every balance change, (c) public stats so you can verify the pool size.
Disaster recovery is a real risk for any custodial service. We use Proxmox Backup Server (in setup) for daily snapshots of DB+wallet. Worst case: we (or an appointed administrator) can return all deposits based on the audit log. We recommend not depositing more SCC than you can afford to be temporarily without.
Estimated network APY is around 35% (varies). That means for every 100 SCC deposited you earn approximately 35 SCC over a year, or ~2.9 SCC/month. Actual rewards depend on the pool size and how many masternodes we can run.
We wait for 6 confirmations on the SCC blockchain — typically ~12 minutes (block time is 2 min). When met, your balance is credited automatically by our deposit watcher.
Withdrawal requests are processed every ~30 seconds by our worker. The transaction is then broadcast to the network and confirmed in a block within typically 2-4 minutes. There is no lock-up period.
Network fee: ~0.001 SCC per withdrawal (paid to the SCC network). Platform fee: 0% for now (may change later — if so, advance notice will be given and only new rewards are affected).
Sign-message is crypto-native and means we never store passwords. You prove ownership of your SCC address by signing a challenge in your wallet — the private key never leaves your machine. Bonus: forgot-password flow does not exist. Lost key = lost access, so take care of your wallet.
Then unfortunately you lose access to your FOS-HUB account, since we have no other way to verify you are the owner. We cannot reset it. So: take good care of your SCC wallet and your seed phrase / wallet.dat backup.
Custodial crypto services in the EU are subject to MiCA regulation, and in Denmark likely require registration with Finanstilsynet (VASP). We are working on the legal side; for now use the platform with the understanding that we are in build-up phase.
